The summer toboggan run and the double chairlift operate with good weather conditions only.

Prices Summer

Hiking or Chair Lift

To reach the summit of Dürrnberg, the Zinkenkogel, you have two options to choose from:

A leisurely mountain ride with the double chairlift, where you can enjoy the view of the magnificent mountain scenery, the Salzachtal, and the city of Hallein.
Or a slightly more athletic option: a relaxed and enjoyable hike from the parking lot of the double chairlift to the summit (approximately 1.5 hours of walking).

Regardless of your choice, once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with the Bergrestaurant Zinkenstüberl and a fantastic view!

Safety

The centrifugal brake ensures a top speed of up to 40 km/h. You can adjust your personal comfort speed independently using a lever.

Children under the age of 6 (recommended from 2 years on) can ride with an adult, while drivers from the age of 6 years get their own toboggan.

Summer tobogganing is only possible with dry weather. In case of bad weather or a wet toboggan run, the operation is suspended in advance for safety reasons.

The total capacity per toboggan is limited to 130 kg.

Restaurant

The mountain restaurant “Zinkenstüberl” waits for you at the top of Zinkenkogel with refreshing drinks and delicious dishes. Indulge in culinary delights between your rides on the summer toboggan run, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and recharge with a tasty meal. The restaurant can accommodate larger groups as well.

Around the Zinkenstüberl, you can also admire the breathtaking views of the expansive mountain panorama, the Salzachtal, and the city of Hallein!

In addition to a comfortable double chairlift that safely takes you up the mountain, an automatic photo service provides action-packed pictures of your ride on the summer toboggan run, which will surely bring a smile to your face.

Moreover, there is excellent access to the city of Salzburg, and larger groups can easily arrive by bus.
