Winter Hiking on Dürrnberg
At the Talstation of the Sessellift, you can rent snowshoes for € 14.00 per day. Equipped with sturdy footwear and ski poles, you can embark on a snowshoeing adventure that takes you up to the Zinkenstüberl at 1,320 meters or even all the way to the neighboring region of Bavaria, reaching the summit cross at 1,336 meters in approximately 1.5 hours.

The Zinkenkogel (1,336 m) – your destination just outside the gates of Salzburg – offers a magnificent panoramic view from the Untersberg (Berchtesgadener Hochthron, Mittagsscharte, to the Salzburger Hochthron) to Gaisberg, Schwarzenberg, Wieserhörndl, Schafberg, Schlenken, Trattberg, and all the way to Dachstein.
Cozy descent with the doublechair lift
After a cozy break, indulging in delicious food and drinks, those who prefer a leisurely descent can opt for the comfortable ride down to the valley with the doublechair lift. Enjoy the fantastic view of the Salzachtal while gliding smoothly back to the base.
